OPTIMISM TO CHANGE WHAT WE LIVE IN

Vivian is a people-centred professional with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

She chose to follow International Relations because she considers herself a curious person and was always intrigued by the world in general. As a result, her interest in helping others was awakened early on, right at university. This is how she headed to Argentina to work as a volunteer in an NGO and to help children in vulnerable situations. A memorable experience that she will never forget and that helped her discover what she would like to do in the future.

After graduating, she got a job in an import/export company. This opportunity gave her a great sense of responsibility and a superior sense of proactivity. After two years of this experience, she realised that she needed a change. So she quit her job and started studying again, this time in business administration. While studying, she got a job at the City Council in her home town and here she developed several skills, such as the adaptability to work with a strong hierarchy and limited budgets. Here, she was also able to strengthen her empathy and ability to listen to others, especially after being chosen to be part of a committee to support the homeless. Later, she was invited by one of her professors to join his consulting company.

Vivian believes she is a positive person who learns from everything that happens in her life. The MBA has now become the opportunity she needed to move to Portugal and develop both her technical and soft skills. It was also the opportunity to meet people and learn new points of view.
