With 15 years of Finance, Accounting, and Audit experience, Orquídea had the opportunity to collaborate with multicultural companies, allowing her to develop resilience, versatility, and accuracy. In 2005, as accounting assistance, Orquídea was responsible for supporting the financial director, ensuring all activities related to year-end closing, VAT return, and export process. She embraced a new challenge in 2009 as a team leader at the trading company Mobilada, Lda that sold goods to Angola. While coordinating team members, both in Angola and Portugal, supervising treasury, accounts payables, and receivables activities, she had the opportunity to be a stakeholder of BDO.

Later, in 2014, Orquídea started a new project as the Senior Accountant at Nors SA, a recognized automotive sector company, developing financial reports for several subsidiaries of NorsGroup in Angola, Kenia, Tanzania, and Botswana. This experience allowed Orquídea to dive into multicultural environments while supporting local auditors with financial statements. Moreover, in 2019, she embarked on a project management position for finance transition from Sodexo Netherlands to Sodexo Portugal, entitled “Go-live” which was a tremendous success due to her recognizable skills. Currently, Orquídea monitors the Netherlands record to report team, coordinating team members to achieve established goals

As a choir conductor, she developed her people and leadership skills while doing what passionate her: inspiring people to excel through “only one voice”. Orquídea believes that, in a corporate environment, if all organization is involved with its purpose, excellent results will happen, indeed.
