Pedro is intrinsically a very curious person who always goes to the bottom of questions, and this characteristic has help him succeed throughout his career. With more than twenty years of R&D experience working in several companies with global presence, Pedro has acquired communication and management skills which allows him to thrive in varied and multi-cultural environments.

His work experience spans from academic research at the University of Porto and University College London to leading-edge companies in their fields including HILTI, CERN, and currently SYNOPSYS. These work experiences allowed Pedro to develop resilience, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in high pressure and challenging working environments while focusing on delivering excellent results. During the last 15 years, he has been working in Digital Hardware Design and is currently focused on FPGA Technology for prototyping purposes.

Since 2018, Pedro moved from being an individual contributor to managing an R&D Team committed to delivering high-quality products to customers. He has developed and maintained an incredibly effective and passionate team with strong values. His exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with broad experience, provide him with a depth of technical skill in several areas. Pedro is inspired by and passionate about his work, and this has enabled him to build a career supported by his strong personal values.
