Born in a traditional small town by the sea, as a big sister, she assumed the role of caretaker and diplomat from an early age. With a bachelor's and master's degree in Business and Management from the University of Coimbra, Emanuela started her professional career in 2008 as a trainee in a start-up company oriented to financial markets. In the same year, she joined the Control Department of a Group with a solid international presence in the agri-food sector and biofuels.

Emanuela also highlights her decisive role as SAP Key-user in the FICO module (industry implementation project), her participation in successful Due Diligence processes, and the conduction of accounting closing monthly and annual procedures and reporting for three national and four foreign companies.

She joined Bonera Group (Grupo Bongás) as Planning and Control Department Responsible in 2015, with the primary goal to create all the reporting tools to provide insightful information to management. Through her consolidated background in the Planning and Control Department and treasury, Emanuela knew what areas played an influential role in business support and the company's decision-making, and the effect of a robust Information System that provides accurate information. All the knowledge acquired throughout her professional career provided the right tools to analyze and (re)design financial and controlling processes in cooperation with operational teams.

Owner of a solid capacity to listen and influence others with grace and diplomacy, she always found her way to do her path and achieve her goals with success. At present, with more than 15 years of experience in the financial area, wife, and mother of two lovely children, she realized that she needed to challenge herself and the Digital MBA was the obvious choice.
