Maria is an empathetic, cautious, and detail-oriented team player, focused on delivering outstanding results. After six years of experience in multinational companies and one year living and working on the other side of the world, Maria is on a mission to continuously improve her HR skills and grow into communication and project management-related functions.

With a Masters' Degree in Social, Organizational, and Work Psychology, she started her career in recruitment with an internship at Hays that led her to embrace this area.

In 2015, Maria joined Sonae's Corporate Centre team as an HR Technician, working for all sides of Human Resources that consolidated her recruitment expertise for different areas and various functions. She then decided in 2017 to undertake a new adventure in Melbourne, Australia, to be part of the Recruitment team of Australia Post, hiring people for and from all around the country. After returning to Porto in 2018, Maria quickly joined the online luxury fashion retail Farfetch as a member of the Talent Acquisition department.
She has been working closely with the Tech teams to define and implement strategies to find and hire the best talent for their needs.

More recently, Maria became responsible for internship and career conversion programs within Farfetch in Portugal, gaining a broader experience around the larger employee experience cycle.
