KNOWLEDGE-DRIVEN, CAPABLE OF TAKING ANY CHALLENGE


Outgoing, adaptable, versatile, and always eager for knowledge, Tiago is highly competent in every project he settles his energy.

Tiago's career kicked off as an intern in an industrial unit, handling day-to-day operations, including putting out orders, organizing production outputs, and liaising with clients. This experience questioned his ability to overcome adversities from working in harsh environments but became a thriving experience to improve his versatility and resilience.

He later switched to the Construction industry as a Junior Construction Supervisor and promptly earned more responsibility for monitoring and reporting for Quality, Cost, Planning, Safety, and Design, while liaising with multiple stakeholders such as Sonae MC and Sonae RP.

Nevertheless, Tiago's ambition drove him to pursue a more relevant position in the Construction business by setting up two big Projects (100M€ and 40M€) as a Junior Project Manager, managing a team of four people. This position allowed him to get closer to relevant stakeholders and company leaders and assume a leading role in his senior counterpart's absence, resulting in more autonomy and support that added incremental growth to his leadership and communication skills.

Then, in 2019 Tiago moved back to his home city to accept a Construction Supervisor role, working with relevant critical players like Lidl, Ikea, and Decathlon on fast-paced projects that conceded him opportunities to excel in his decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Following a couple of courses in IT and Law, Tiago's decision culminated in engaging with this Digital MBA and started working on a family business-owned Group holding two community pharmacies, assuming a managing role hoping to put his recently acquired knowledge to the test.

Tiago is also a good communicator, which sets the grounds for becoming a good leader, working under pressure, and coordinating teams.
