CONQUERING EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE

Daniela's outlook in life is never to conform to what has been achieved but to overcome adversity and face challenges as new opportunities.

With the exception of two short professional experiences, she has been at Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) for her entire professional career. She joined CGD in 2007 as a commercial in a small CGD agency located in Rebordosa, Paredes municipality. Early on, Daniela exhibited exceptional commercial talent and, through internal mobility programs, she later transferred to a more prominent agency where she would have more focused front office tasks.

In 2011, due to CGD's new positioning as a corporate bank, Daniela was invited to manage a portfolio of corporate and multi-agency clients, a role she performed excellently and was promoted on merit four times. She participated in a CGD television campaign, which promoted the service provided by business managers and asked for her testimony of good practices for the growth of the business volume. In 2020, Daniela was distinguished with the Caixa Excellence award as an additional way of recognizing employees' work and valuing their contribution as an essential factor in the development and success of the company.

In March 2021, Daniela was promoted to Deputy Manager of an agency and is embracing it as a new opportunity to improve herself along with this EMBA.
