Hugo is an expert Finance Executive in the construction industry, with many highway construction projects up his sleeve. He's a committed and goal-oriented professional with high analytical skills looking to improve processes with ingenuity.

With academic training in accounting and complemented by two post-graduate degrees in Auditing and Finance and Taxation, Hugo launched his professional career in 2010 in the construction sector at Mota-Engil Group. For six years, he operated in the financial department on several road construction projects dealing with Human Resources, Accounting, Management Control, Payments/Receipts, and Budgeting. Since 2016, Hugo has been performing financial management functions in several Road ACEs belonging to the Group.

As a good team player, he is always ready to face any challenge, learn something new and support his peers. Hugo is a travel enthusiast and getting to know new cultures. He's also highly passionate about music, more precisely the saxophone, having spent many years in the world of philharmonic bands.
