BUILDING BENEFICIAL LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIPS
Captivated by the combination of industry, strategy, and growth, Bruno continuously searches for market indicators, export evolution, and new investments made in the Portuguese industry landscape. With a degree in Economics and a solid knowledge of the Portuguese industry segments, he is familiar with corporate governance, including training people from different countries and backgrounds.
In 2008, after a short experience working with the board of a family company's board in the import/export segment, Bruno started to work in NBB, the most prominent M&A consultancy group worldwide, present in about 25 countries. With this challenging experience, he had the opportunity to connect strategic and financial investors with opportunities in the middle market focused on industrial family-owned companies, developed the group's international network, joined potential partners, negotiated terms, and also gave support to the entrance in countries such as Colombia, Turkey, or Austria. In addition, Bruno also managed to be responsible for training new partners in financial and evaluation techniques.
Later, in 2014, he began to work at GOLDEN CORPORATE, answering directly to the board. After a short period, the business was able to close two operations in the industrial segment (textile and ceramic) with two major private equity operators in Portugal and also concluded a debt renegotiation for another industrial company in the textile industry.
In 2016, Bruno joined VELUT as a partner, aiming to provide tailor-made solutions in the M&A segment to the midcap segment. So far, this experience has broadened his vision of management, embracing several tasks, such as commercial, marketing, financial, and others.
This path has allowed him to dive into several different industries and work with various entrepreneurs and business managers in very relevant moments of the company history.
Bruno believes that long-term relationships are essential to provide loyalty, trust, and mutual understanding. The decision to open the door to a new shareholder is a memorable time in the company's life, so it's important that the shareholders have complete confidence in the advisor, and he works daily to pay back that confidence.
