Fabiana Lima | The Executive MBA
PASSIONATE ABOUT NURTURING AND DEVELOPING MULTICULTURAL TEAMS
Confident, pragmatic, and goal-oriented, Fabiana strives to inspire those who work alongside her with a high level of empathy, compassion, and leadership skills.
Fabiana started as a nurse in 2011. After completing her degree, she searched for new challenges and opportunities for personal and professional growth and decided to move to the UK in 2012.
She worked across different hospitals in the London area and invested time to develop her clinical and leadership skills.
In 2014, she had her first opportunity to lead a team of 20+ people in St. Thomas Hospital, a public central London hospital, in the emergency department. No two days were the same, and this particular role enabled her to improve her resilience, ability to work under pressure, decision-making process, and autonomy. Simultaneously, Fabiana completed a mentorship and sign-off mentorship qualification at King's College and furthered her supervisory and leadership skills.
In 2017, Fabiana moved to the private sector and advanced as the manager of two different units in charge of the teams and the operational side of both departments (reporting directly to the CNO). She began as the Medical Floor Manager and later opened the urgent care centre, managing the process from its inception. Fabiana ended up having both the Medical floor and the Urgent Care under her jurisdiction and completed a post-graduation in Advanced Practice at St George's University London while working full-time.
In 2020, Fabiana moved back to enrol in the Executive MBA as she decided to expand her skills within the digital health sector. She is currently working at a digital health startup as a Project Manager and is responsible for the design and implementation of a variety of healthcare projects.
