Carlos Barbosa | The Executive MBA
FOCUS ON LONG-TERM EFFICIENCY
Innovation, sustainability, novelty, and the determination to evolve motivate Carlos to push him out of his comfort zone.
He has gathered a wide range of professional skills such as people management, project management, and maintenance management. At every stage of his career, Carlos had the opportunity to learn, teach, recommend and implement new ideas, set new records, and motivate teams.
With a background in Mechanical Engineer and ten years of experience in the industrial sector, he began working for an aerosol contract manufacturing multinational company. He commenced with an internship in the maintenance department and quickly moved to the position of Production Supervisor, a role that led him to acquire valuable knowledge in people management, production management, and daily KPI’s.
A couple of years later, Carlos joined another company, in the tobacco sector, as a Project Manager responsible for internal project deployment, managing all the project stages (end-to-end), including international projects with a specific focus on equipment industrialization. Then, he advanced to become Maintenance Supervisor, managing a technical team that supported industrial equipment. More recently, Carlos decided to welcome a new opportunity in the dairy sector as Maintenance Manager.
An intellectually curious person, Carlos has a relentless passion for learning and broadening his horizons. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with his team and improving established processes through decision-making and calculated risks.
