FROM PORTUGAL TO NEW CHALLENGES

José is a civil engineer who feels the need to surpass himself on a daily basis.

He worked for 6 years in Morocco and it was there that he led team building projects of 200 people, while managing around 8 million euros.

Adaptability is one of his most intrinsic characteristics that allowed him to lead local teams with completely different cultures while dealing directly with clients, in the automotive sector, from countries like Japan and France. Another characteristic that defines José is the ability to always finish his projects before the agreeding schedule due to his constant curiosity and the need to be one step ahead to push his own boundaries. Frequently, his creative solutions allowed him to gain new opportunities within the company or to be hired to follow other projects.

After his experience abroad, the engineer returned to Portugal to embrace a completely different challenge: managing a family business of cork stoppers for the wine sector. The business is flourishing and producing at a steady pace, delivering excellent products, with the Amorim e Irmãos S.A. Group already as a client.
