STRATEGIC AND PASSIONATE LEADER, DRIVEN BY RESULTS
Thiago is a passionate, visionary, and analytical operational executive who energizes team-building through leadership and commitment, developing strategic-thinking teams.
Thiago’s expertise is in the retail fashion industry, having worked for prominent and major fashion retailers across Brazil and has lived in 8 different states of Brazil, and in New York City. This has enabled him to enjoy life with an open mind and embrace diverse cultures while investing in personal growth and encouraging new ideas.
His many accomplishments vary between being one of the 20 people selected amongst 40k fresh graduates in Brazil to become a trainee at Riachuelo and as one of the managers involved in Fast Fashion (Supply Chain Management program) that enabled Riachuelo to almost triple the revenues in 8 years. In 2013 he was appointed by the business director to be the Expansion Market Manager and achieved 32% over the initial target in the first year.
Later on, he was designated Regional Manager by the CEO to have a key role on Push and Pull Supply chain management that reduced re-work in stores and improved efficiency. Thiago was also responsible for connecting the operations team with the procurement department, bringing synergy gains between these areas, increasing sales by 62%, and decreasing inventories. His team continuously increased sales and hit the target for 3 years in a row by providing managers with expertise in product clusters, strategy, and tools to improve customer experience. In 2018, as a Product Manager for Wodka, Thiago introduced a new strategy by pivoting from mass production to customization, focusing on a new business model, by increasing margin and reducing inventories.
On a personal level, Thiago is a lively and forthcoming person, who positively faces life. He does yoga to keep his balance, enjoys traveling with his family and friends.
Having achieved career success in South America and student experience in North America, focusing on strategy and operations management in Boston, USA. In 2020 ,Thiago wanted a new challenge by undertaking an MBA and to then pursue new and exciting opportunities that align with his aspirations in Europe and find new job opportunities in Europe.
