An inspirational leader passionate about Commercial management and Operations, Vitor's mission is to create value through an endless learning mindset.

Vitor worked as a district manager at Lidl from 2004 to 2013, leading 80 company employees and managing sales, losses, and productivity of five Stores in Portugal. Meanwhile, in 2013 he embarked on a development director’s program in Germany while being District Manager in two different stores in Leverkusen and Köln.

He later returned to Portugal in 2014 to become Sales and Operations Director and manage 39 different stores, leading an astonishing 900 company employees that reached above 5% of annual sales growth. His role in implementing several projects for process improvements resulted in achieving first place in the world, in 2018, on the quality store audits ranking.

In 2019, Vitor moved to Dia Brasil to manage 239 stores and the Distribution Centre with close to 2000 employees. He invested in implementing e-commerce in the São Paulo stores' area with a visionary mindset and developed a talent management program that promoted 30 assistants to store managers.

Persevering in developing the people he works with, Vitor evaluates, forms, guides, and helps build self-confidence with positive energy and optimism. He likes to encourage everyone to embark with this vision daily, creating an environment where the whole team acts with transparency, authenticity, and honesty to develop a winning team culture that exceeds goals.
